A Void is an empty area or space e.g. the roof space or void. Voids need to be kept well ventilated and dry and in the case of the roof or subfloor void, should be approached with caution as they can present hazards such as tripping, falling and exposure to electrical wiring which may be obscured by insulation and stored items.
