Structural Dampness is where water has been absorbed into a structural element of the building resulting in damage to the structure. Dampness may also cause conditions conducive to other types of structural damage and environments hazardous to the  health of occupants.

The inspection includes checking for these conditions in:

  • Wall Structure: Ceilings, internal walls, external walls
  • Floor Structure: Suspended floors, slab-on-ground construction
