Yamanto
This suburb can be found 6 km to the Westside of Ipswich and 45 km from Brisbane. In 2011 about 4,100 people were resident. Originally a cotton plantation, it has experienced a recent resurgence in development due to its proximity to the growing Amberley Airforce Base. It has also been earmarked as part of a growth corridor being developed in the Ripley Valley.
