Wolfdene (4207)
40 km to Brisbane’s south, Wolfdene (4207) is a sparsely populated suburb with 292 residents in 2011. Because of this, its school which was opened in 1892 was closed in 1942. In 1989, it was the site for a proposed dam on the Albert River. However, the proposal was rejected as was the plan to build a dam near the Glendower Homestead being too expensive for the amount of water to be provided.
