Located 15 km to Brisbane’s west on the Brisbane River, Pinjarra Hills (4069) is sparsely populated, primarily rural land owned by Queensland University for its research facilities. In 2011, 665 people lived in Pinjarra Hills, their average age is 55 years. Most residents were Anglo-Australian, with a minority from South Africa with English being most spoken at home alongside Cantonese for a minority.
