Closeburn (4520)

Located about 28 km west of Brisbane in the Samford Valley, Closeburn (4520) has a small village feel with its own Public Hall and rural fire brigade. Closeburn  has a mix of acreage residences and farms. In 2011, about 500 people were living in Closeburn, their average age being 37 years. A broad range of origins were represented including Australia, New Zealand, England, Croatia, Finland, and South Africa. Almost all spoke English exclusively at home, although Afrikaans was an exception.
