Beachmere (4510)
On the Northside of Brisbane, on the coast, Beachmere (4510) derives its name from the residence of the ordinal settler, Mr Gonney. It continues to retain its small village feel with only 2 primary schools, one of which is a Steiner school and as of 2011, is home to an older population of about 3,900 people with an average age of 44 years most of whom were born in Australia, New Zealand or England and speak only English at home.
