Archerfield (4108)

Located 11 km from Brisbane and lying between the Oxley Creek in the west and Beaudesert Road in the east, Archerfield (4108) is dominated by its airport which was originally Brisbane’s major airport. During World War II Archerfield Airport was the base for Air Force operations in the Pacific. The suburb is very sparsely populated with just 510 residents in 2011.
