Wherever water ponds and remains pooled for a length of time, this may cause conditions attractive to fungal decay, termite activity and damage. For example, flat roofs and gutters with insufficient pitch or incline, which are misshapen or clogged may tend to hold water resulting in corrosion of metal roofing and gutters with leaking into roof cavities.
