Galvanising
Galvanising involves coating with a thin layer of zinc by either by electrochemical means or by dipping into molten zinc. A thin Zinc coating is applied to the surface of mild steel to offer an improved corrosion resistance to water or humidity to protect the metal as the zinc is oxidised in preference.
