Park Ridge South (4125)
Located 30 km to Brisbane’s south and bisected by the Mt Lindesay Highway, Park Ridge South (4125) was rural but is increasingly becoming urbanised, albeit to a low density. It was formally recognised as a suburb in 1991 and was previously part of the Beaudesert Shire but in 2008 became part of Logan City.
In 2011, 1800 people lived in Park Ridge South, their average age is 49 years. Most residents were Anglo-Australian with a minority from Taiwan. Although English was primarily spoken at home, this was seconded by Mandarin, Hmong, and Khmer.
