Logan Central (4114)
Located 23 km to Brisbane’s south and once part of Woodridge, Logan Central (4114) is the centre of Logan City. As a significant centre, it is mixed-use with major retail and commercial activity together with detached housing and high-density residential apartments, with over half of residents being tenants. It also has various council services, a library, police station, school, and football club. Logan Central is well serviced by regular rail and bus transport.
In 2011, 6100 people lived in Logan Central, their average age is 32 years. Most residents were Anglo-Australian although a minority were from Burma, Samoa, and the Philippines. Only a little more than half spoke only English at home. Karen, Samoan, Burmese, Kirundi, and Arabis were also spoken.
