Graceville (4075)
Located about 8 km to Brisbane’s south-west, sited with a bend of the Brisbane River to the north and west and Oxley Creek to the east, Graceville (4075) is clustered around its railway station. It is mainly residential well known for its traditional and prestigious Queenslander homes on large blocks on quiet tree-lined streets.
There are several main roads, two schools and three parks. Graceville is also home to sporting clubs such as hockey, rugby, netball, cricket, and swimming. Graceville has several landmarks including its Uniting church built in 1930 by Walter Taylor for whom a bridge was named and a Memorial Oval in recognition of residents who died in wars.
In 2011, 4200 people lived in Graceville, their average age is 37 years. Most residents were Anglo-Australian with a minority from the United States. Almost all spoke English exclusively at home.
